The BEST Healthy Banana Cake Recipe

Hello friends – Happy Thursday!

Today I’m excited to share my favorite healthy cake recipe. I have been doing this cake for years now and I don’t ever get tired of it (even my husband loves it). It’s super easy to make and if you love banana like I do, I guarantee you will love this cake too!

Healthy Banana Cake Recipe

  • 2 eggs
  • 3 bananas
  • 1/3 cup honey or brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup coconut oil
  • 1/4 almond milk (or any other type of milk)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 3/4 cup oats
  • Cinnamon to taste
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 3/4 cup dark chocolate chips (optional)

In a medium bowl whisk together all the dry ingredients. In a different bowl combine all the other ingredients. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry and mix until smooth. If you choose to add the chocolate chips, fold them lastly. Bake in a pre-heated oven at 325•F for about 35 min.
