As most of you know, last week I went to California for a mini 4-day vacation and it was PERFECT. I got to run by the beach as I kept strong on my 10K training, to go bike riding, spend quality time with my husband and of course, eat delicious food! Overall, we had 4 VERY active days (35k steps on day 1).
Happy Tuesday everyone – Hope you all had an great Labor Day Weekend!
Who loves wearing athletic-wear? I sure do! Even when I’m not at the gym working out, I’m almost always wearing activewear. I wear it at the grocery store, when I’m chilling at home, running errands, shopping, and I even wear gym clothes at work – I can wear Athleisure at the office and I love it!
Comfort is EVERYTHING! Besides, you can’t go wrong with a comfy pair of leggings. Am I right?!
Can you believe Summer is almost over? My last year of Grad School starts tomorrow, and I’m excited to be back to the school grind! Especially now that will be learning about my favorite subject: Strategic Marketing. Can’t wait!
Now lets get to the main point: the muffins! Read More »
Happy Sunday! I hope you’ll had an amazing weekend 🙂
I’ve been getting lots of questions lately about how I got started with my Instagram and Blog, so I decided to finally share with you how everything started and my life changing story with you’ll 🙂
THE OLD SHEINA
Growing up I was always a tall “skinny” girl. I started playing volleyball when I was 8-years old and my life was always about volleyball practices, laps around the gym, workouts, agility trainings, and tournaments. LOVED every second of it!
Even though I was an athlete for almost my entire life, my eating habits were not the best. Cookies, soda, candy and fried foods were big part of my daily eating routine. The years went by and in 2009 I received a full-schorlaship to come play college volleyball in a Junior College in Liberal, KS. When I first arrived in the United States I was overwhelmed by all the food options, and how much cheaper they were compared to Brazil. Even practicing 5 days a week for approximatly 3 hours a day, by end of November I had gained a little over 10 LBS (can’t remember for sure).
Hope you are having a great week so far and are enjoying the warmer days in KC.
It’s been a long time since I last posted here… But now that my MBA classes are over, I will have way more time to blog! Anyone else excited for Summer? I definitely Am!
